Nathalie Le Boucher, Frankreich (F/E)

is a kathakali dancer, a storyteller, a drama artist. After 4 years of drama training, she spent 8 years learning and dancing kathakali (traditional dance-theater) in Kerala/South India. In 2000 she returned to France with the intention of telling indian epics and mythologic tales as well as using kathakali technics out of his traditional context. For that she worked on a new style, where dance, gestual and words fuse. With that new form of her own, she adapts indian mythology as well as stories from other cultures and plays for adults as well as for a young public.
